Calling Dig Safely New York at 811 before digging is a critical safety precaution. To raise awareness of this safety message, Dig Safely New York is launching a new campaign to capitalize on August 11 being 8/11 on the calendar known as the “811 Promise” pledge.

Through this campaign, we are asking all stakeholders with a vested interest in damage prevention to sign a pledge to always call Dig Safely New York at 811 before digging, and to commit themselves to always remembering and spreading this important message.
