What is Dig Safely New York?

i-Notice Jr.

The Dig|Safely. New York i-Notice Jr. program allows a low-volume excavator or homeowner to submit location requests for transcription by call center staff.

What Are The Benefits?

Using i-Notice Jr. allows you the freedom to create occasional location requests on the internet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with no training requirements. If your submissions are accepted, you will receive a copy of your location requests electronically. This feature is the most valued by current i-notice users, as they can easily track their locations or print a listing of facility operators that have been notified along with their telephone numbers.

What Do You Need?

  1. Access to the internet
  2. An email account
  3. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari

Additional Notes

  1. i-Notice Jr. submissions require an extra working-day of lead time.
  2. This feature is under development, and is a tentative offering.
  3. Submission rates are limited. High volume callers are not allowed to use this method.
  4. Garbage in, Garbage out. If you submit junk, you can expect that we will discard it.
  5. If there is a problem with the submission, we will attempt to contact you via the phone. If the issue is not resolved, or if we fail to reach you, the submission will be discarded without notice or further action.
  6. You must assume that a submission was discarded if you do not receive the affected member listing, by noon of the next working day.
