Cancellation of Location Requests

Some times an excavator will need to cancel a location request for various reasons. A location request can be cancelled up until the scheduled workdate.

To cancel a location request, Dig Safely New York will need all of the following information:

• The Dig|Safely. New York ticket number of the ticket you wish to cancel
• The county, place, and street of the ticket you wish to cancel
• An explanation of the cancellation. (Example: Wrong street information)

Important! Please be sure that you are canceling the correct ticket number! Once a ticket has been canceled, it cannot be recalled.
